Python Course Design Note 52 of 52
User Interaction
Chapter01
Task Name - User Interaction
Task Overview
Configure the environment variables so that Python 2 and Python 3 coexist on your computer
Community Topic
What are the similarities and differences between Python and other programming languages (such as C)?
Details
Python not only has the advantages of an interpreted language, it also has its own concise and elegant character. It is convenient and flexible to use, letting programmers focus only on the core logic when writing programs, which is exactly the original intent of Guido and the language’s designers
Check-in Requirements
- Explain the characteristics of machine language, assembly language and high-level languages
- Explain the difference between compiled languages and interpreted languages
- Describe Python’s basic data types
- Set up an environment in the terminal where Python 2 and Python 3 coexist (check in with a screenshot)
- Write a program in Python that interacts with the user (this requires later material, so you need to preview ahead to complete it): define an age in advance and ask the user to guess the age (check in with a screenshot of the code)
Assignment check-in deadline: September 9
